The Pageant is 70+ floats. All these floats precede the big man in red, the float that everyone has come to see. The Pageant heralds in Santa's arrival to Adelaide.
This was my second year in the pageant but it was made all that bit special because I got to share it with Ailish.
Ailish was the Tram Driver on the "Ye Olde Pageant Tram" and I was a World Traveller on the "Granny Flo" float.
It was such a treat to see all the young childrens faces beaming, inspite of an early shower, in the 325,000 strong crowd. The sense of community was great - truly reflecting the spirit of Christmas.
