It's easy as a, b, c

Conversation between Ailish and I this evening after I picked her up from school. Her teacher is leaving at the end of the term and Ailish got to meet the new teacher today.....

"Mum we got to met Miss Rolf today she's going to be our teacher now"

"That's exciting"

"Mum I want you to be my teacher"

"That's nice"

"Mum you should go for an interview with Mr Ray (the principal) and then you could be our teacher"

"I can't do that I'm not a teacher...you have to go to university and study just like Granny and Grandma and Auntie Dee"

"Nooo...you don't need to do that mum, being a teacher is easy"

"No princess it takes a lot of work to become a teacher"

"No mum it's easy all you have to do is write on the blackboard, read us stories, sit at your desk and tell people to sit down and to be quiet..."

Round 1 to her....fair call....but don't tell Mum or Dee
