Not being seasoned regulars of this event we were not nearly as prepared as others....bean bags, tents, umbrellas, huge floor coverings reserving their patch of grass are what we need to remember to bring next year if I can be bothered, which I doubt it....but armed with our picnic blankets, aeroguard, drinks and Santa hats we found a nice spot and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
We sang carols, danced and watched the fireworks, who doesn't enjoy fireworks?

The boys made friends with a little girl behind us who was about the same age. They ran about, danced and gave each other cuddles all throughout the evening...as they were giving each other cuddles Ewan said "See" (said in an all knowing way), he was referring to an earlier comment that he had made about this being a great place to pick up (at the time I did remind him that he was having this conversation with his WIFE!!!). The kids were just as entertaining as the official performers, it was just soooo cute to watch.
The evening was made that much more special because we were able to share it with Amy, Nadine and her little tribe.

awww man, i'm so ticked that we decided not to go. its looks & sounds like it was a good night. but we had such a busy weekend & I was stuffed by the time I got home yesterday. I hope it didnt rain on your parade at all cause it absolutely bucketed here!!! Love Ya
Thanks for picking a not too unflattering photo of me. I bet those fire works were awesome just don't mention them to my boys. I didn't mention them when we left early. But I think the more natural light display was awesome and the storm stay away just enough.
How fun!!!
