GRANDPARENTS
It was "Bring your Grandparents to school day" today. Ewan's Dad and my mum divided their time between the kids classrooms. While one was with the boys the other was with Ailish and then at appropriate times I would have them switch, then switch back and then switch again.
The kids read to them, drew with them, showed them the tricks they can do on the playground and took them on tours of the school.
There was morning tea and the Grandparents were given the opportunity to purchase a book and donate it to the school library. Mum & Peter both bought a book and inside is written who donated the book and their grandchildrens names. This was such a good idea. So now when Ailish borrows the novel about horses that she had mum buy she'll be super proud to see her name inside the front cover.
