Happy Mothers Day

Today I was woken up by three beaming children all eager to be rewarded with a smile and a kiss once they had handed over their gift bag full of goodies.

Their bags were full of items that they had "shopped" for at the school Mothers Day stall on Friday.

Callum couldn't wait until Mothers Day to give me the gift he had chosen. He anxiously blurted out what he had bought the moment he laid eyes on me after school. No amount of me saying "but it's a secret" "but it's for Mothers Day" or "you can give it to me on Sunday" was going to stop him, not me, unwrapping the gift the moment we stepped into the house. His beautiful candle has been burning on and off since Friday afternoon.

Photograph by me, thanks to self timer on camera and $1.40 in bribes.

In our family photo I currently have a definate preference to be hidden by the children. But you go girl you've always been more courageous than me.
