The birthday girl is 8 TODAY
We never thought she would live to the age of four (we have the terrible 3's) let alone to the ripe old age of 8.
She arrived by emergency c-section at 12:08am weighing 8lbs 15ozs and the first glimpse I had of her was through the viewfinder of our video camera while I was in recovery (I had to have a general anaesthetic).
Ewan got to give Ailish her first bath while he was waiting for me to wake up and I got to cuddle her when I got back to my room.
Dorian & mum were pretty quick to arrive at the hospital to meet their new grand daughter. Mum's first grandchild and Dorian's 5th.
Ailish's middle name is Emma and this is after her Nana Grobins.
