Last moments of summer..

look I can fly (Rowan)

We are at the end of what has been a record breaking week in Adelaide. We are nearly at the end of a heat wave that has lasted over a week. This evening we took advantage of our last moments of summer and headed to the beach with Mum, Ingrid, Neil & Olivia.

We stayed for a few hours and only left because the incoming tide had taken over our sandy shore.

This summer we have made it a point to visit a few beaches that we don't normally frequent. At the start of summer Rowan was really reluctant and preferred to stay on the sand and watch, but tonight he overcame his fears and went boogie boarding with the rest of them. I was so proud of him.

love the pics - love that little olivia belly - so cute - we really miss the beach living sooo far from it in arizona - we live all year round for the one week we spend in california - all of it at the beach - i think the love of the ocean is in our blood - my kids were just natural beach lovers instantly!
