Yesterday I went out in search of some much NEEDED new underwear - namely bra's. I knew it was time to restock because my once white bras were a discernibly grey colour with fast dwindling support.
After repeated trips back and forth between the fitting room and the abundant racks of bras - seriously, from the plain, functional bras to the super frilly sort - I made my selection, functional with a little feminine touch, and left the store to do some window shopping.

I finished up in Borders bookstore - always a dangerous place for me - and instantly fell in love with the floor to ceiling display of classic books, all bound in the most beautiful textured cloth. Before I knew I had half-a-dozen books cradled in my arm.
If these books don't make you WANT to find a quiet spot to curl up in and read - well, nothing will!
After a little pep talk to myself and a vow to return for more another time I walked out with ONLY 4 books.

sounds like a very successful day to me. & I LOVE the black & red cover of that book!!
Those bindings are so beautiful. My life is about to go on pause for just one year then hopefully 'we're in the money'. So I was thinking about my contribution to the foody blog. How do you feel about fabulous food on a budget?
