Field trip

5:15am alarm goes off - it's cold and dark

5:45am in the car, heater on

6:30am fingers are sore from the cold, brain is frozen - how am I meant to be creative in these conditions

This week I went on a couple of field trips with my class, first was on Wednesday evening and the other was this morning. The purpose of these trips were to try a few different things under different lighting conditions.

My expectations of the kind of photos I thought I would take and the actually photos I took didn't really meet up, but this is just the beginning and it has made me think outside the square a little.

Me

Paddle boats

Really like this shot - the reflection from the street light spoils it a little

River Torrens, early morning

Kangaroo Paw

Swan - pretty self explanatory

Light reflections

Captured light sequence on King William Street
