End of the dayAilish had sports day today. She was terrific and did her best in every event she participated in. She placed in a number of events and came an amazing 4th in the 400m race. She was happy to have a go in all the events. The boys and I were encouraging her from the sidelines and after each event she would look in our direction for an encouraging smile or thumbs up. I was so proud of her.

you should have told me. i would have loved to have brought the boys up. Ailish is awesome. can she bring her ribbons on Sunday? see you then.
I love that she is the oldest, what a great family dynamic. Her little brothers cheering for their hero of a sister. I love it.
This looks like a great day, and how neat that your boys were so into it. I loved the pics too! I also love that I can get little glimpses into your life from so far away.
even tho i was never athletic, i was always willing to participate in sports day - anything to get out of school work!
