Today I dropped into mum's and found her going through the old slides of photos that Granny & Grandad had taken over the years. There were some great hair do's and some just awful dress sense. At the moment I don't have the photo's but here is a description of a couple of photos I just loved..
- Sharon as a baby, probably about 3 months old, in a stroller lying on her back. She is wearing a little dress and just as the photo is being taken she has lifted her leg and exposed herself in a very unlady like manner..just a classic.
- Another photo I just had to laugh at was one of Sharon and Dinah. Dinah is kneeling down. She is wearing a lovely dress that it fitted just under her bust. I guess the fashion in bras at the time was the pointy cone look (the one Madonna revamped in the early 90's) because Dinah was looking very perky. Standing next to her is Sharon (probably about 3 or 4 years old) in a little white dress with a pink frill around the top. Sharon was going for the cute look and is resting her head on Dinah's chest. It's hilarious.
- There are a number of shots of cousins just hanging out : sitting on the front porch of Donna & Stephen's place at prospect - going to the movies with our packs of twisties in our hands - shots taken in Alice Springs
We sat for a couple of hours and enjoyed the walk down memory lane. We are going to put all the slides onto disc and once it is done we will get a copy to you all.

Amy came over tonight and went straight to the photo box. This is definitely a time of hearts returning to the fathers. I think the Smylies are going about it in a different way by connecting with the living to strengthen the family bond. This is the heavenly unit. I reckon we are doing our bit to perfect it here on earth. If we stick together now we can stick together forever.
Okay, "perky" was in and I still have the chest to prove it!!!!! Lets see the photos, and keep the stories rolling.....love to all...A/di
di - you may still have the chest...but the operative word here is "perky"...do you still have the perk?
love ya, sh.
It is so fun to look at old pictures, I would love a copy of that disk!! Let me know how I can make that happen!
