Oh the shame!!!!

Why do kids always pick the best occasions to embarrass their parents??????

I have experienced humiliation on many occasions but the most recent time was on Sunday when we visited Nadine's ward for Erin's blessing. At one point during the meeting the boys decided that they needed to go to the toilet. Ewan took them out and after a bit Rowan & Callum came running back into a packed, silent chapel (it was testimony meeting) and informed me that they had done a wee and that they now needed to do a poo......Ewan did the walk of shame and took them back to the toilet.

Next incident during the meeting was they had been told on a number of occasions to be quiet and whisper (my kids only have two volumes loud & LOUDER). I had finally had enough and Ewan marched them back out, actually Rowan marched and Callum was dragged out. After about 5 minutes they gleefully returned, and before Ewan had even sat down, Rowan proceeded to inform me, with a giant smirk, that dad had beat them and then Callum chirped in with "yeah, dad smacked our bottom." I glanced around in the hope that no one had heard only to see people looking in our direction with a grin on their faces relived that it was not their kids this time. I could see that I was amongst people who understood.

Oh the joys!!!

Aunty Trish & I commented to each other how your family was growing and looking beautiful and how you just seemed to smile your way through.

Mums are always right ... but you know that.

Dee I know what ROFL means but have never got the LOL bit ??

I'm always excited to see what identity Dee is taking on today! ha ha. I love people that use LOL by the way. Very useful. Kristie, I hear you. Very funny story. I love how he says that dad beat them. People don't beat their kids are church anyway, we save that for when we're home!!
