He took cake in to work and apparently was tormented all day by his work colleagues.
For months we've known that Star Wars Ep 1 in 3D was coming out on his birthday and that's all he wanted to do and so....wish granted....easy!
First, we went out to a "new to us" Japanese restaurant where they cook your meal right in front of you - Hibachi style....basically the Japanese bbq.
The first time we experienced this type of dining was in January when we were in Florida and we all loved the theatrics of it....flames...utensil twirling...juggling...a bit of everything really.
Following dinner we went to the movie theatre. I had previously purchased the tickets and had a bag full of treats ready to go so all that was left was to grab a prime seat in the theatre to sit back in and enjoy the movie with our 3d Darth Maul glasses.
And enjoy we did......
Really, it was the birthday that the whole family enjoyed.
