Kristie: This happened to me every time I went around a corner with an island in the middle, I would forget and nearly turn to the left of the island every time. I have to say Right, Right, Right all the way across town for a week or so Lol. I am so glad you are enjoying this adventure.
it's crazy getting used to driving on the other side of the road. if that was all you had to think about, it'd be one thing, but i remember steve and donna's van had the gearshift on the steering column - it, and the indicator stick were on opposite sides than i was used to. i don't know how many times i nearly ripped that turn signal thing out of it's socket as i tried "putting it into gear"!
you'll be fine. just remember the steering wheel side ALWAYS GOES IN THE MIDDLE of the two lanes...along the median. (i hope that makes sense?!)
can't wait to hear more. you may have to change your blog title to "black family adventures"!
we love you. i love even the thought than we're on the same soil. :)
It must be so weird but atleast everyone will understand why you are sliding on the ice down the wrong side of the road as soon as you get out the car and start talking. xx
