When I realise that they are not in reachable distance I look up,
look around
and shocked
notice they have made their way outside and are taking it in turns to play chicken at the pedestrian crossing in the carpark!!!!!
Dilemma.......... do I ignore the situation, pretending that they don't belong to me, finish my transaction and grab them on my way to the car, trying like crazy not to bring attention and judgement on myself???
No, i did the right thing..........calmly said to the shop assistant that I would be back, that I just had to stop my kids from running in the carpark, calmly grabbed them by their collars, firmly guided them back into the supermarket, paid for my items, marched the boys back to the car and told them that they couldn't have the chocolate we had just bought because of what they were doing!
If it hadn't been for the fact that what they were doing was dangerous, I soooo would have whipped my camera out.
What does that say about me?
