About 3 weeks ago a job opportunity was presented to Ewan. It was an opportunity he was interested in exploring. A number of telephone hook ups, emails and texts later it was confirmed - Ewan would go and work in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for 3 months.
So this morning we farewelled him. We hugged him tightly, gave him numerous kisses and I shed a hidden tear or two.
I told him when he returns he may find that either the kids are no longer around or I've totally lost it and officially ended up in the looney bin!!
Ewan was so excited to be heading off to what can only be described as his personal slice of heaven......a place where guns laws are soooo relaxed and the Harley's are cheap.
Luckily, my mother-in-law perfectly timed her return to Adelaide. She'll be living just 10 minutes away, so I'm sure there will be many calls of help to her, and to my other wonderfully supportive family & friends .... so consider this your official warning, expect a call at any time of the day or night.

i wish the job was in arizona...and all of you could have come! now that would have been heaven. for me anyway!
